FOX 5 is set to kick off its annual Zip Trip season in Montgomery County, with the first stop scheduled for May 22 in Gaithersburg.
Now in its 12th year, the Zip Trip series highlights communities across the D.C. region, showcasing local businesses, attractions, and the people who make each area unique. FOX 5’s on-air personalities and crew broadcast live from each location, bringing energy and visibility to the host communities.
Events typically begin early in the morning, around 8am, and run through the late morning hours. The full 2026 Zip Trip schedule spans locations across Maryland, Virginia, and D.C., including an additional stop in Montgomery County later in the summer:
