Shark Tank Success Story Expanding With First Permanent Virginia Store

Montgomery County-based menswear brand Collars & Co., which gained national attention after securing a deal on Shark Tank with Mark Cuban and Peter Jones, is continuing its rapid expansion with the opening of its first permanent Virginia store at Reston Town Center.

The new 1,700 SF location, set to open in late May at 11869 Market Street in Reston, marks another milestone for the fast-growing company, which was founded in Montgomery County and has built a loyal following around its signature Dress Collar Polo. The patent-pending design blends the comfort of a polo with the structure of a dress shirt, creating a modern business casual look that helped propel the brand into the national spotlight.

During the company’s appearance on Shark Tank, Cuban described the product as a “game-changer,” helping introduce the brand to a wider audience. Since then, Collars & Co. has expanded its reach well beyond the DC region, attracting athletes, executives, and celebrities looking for comfortable yet polished apparel.

The Reston store adds to the company’s growing list of retail locations, which currently includes stores in Rockville, New York City, Boca Raton, Chicago, King of Prussia, and Dallas. The company’s Rockville storefront remains its Maryland flagship.

According to the company, the new Reston Town Center location is designed to provide an immersive shopping experience that combines fashion with elevated interior design. Once open, store hours are expected to be Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sundays from 11am to 6pm.
