Jen Hamilton, widely known on Instagram and TikTok as the “Internet’s Favorite Labor Nurse,” recently visited Trattoria Da Lina in Takoma Park and shared the experience in a viral social media post (seen below).
Hamilton, a board-certified labor and delivery nurse with more than a decade of experience, has built a massive online following by blending clinical expertise with humor and empathy in her videos. During her visit to the Montgomery County restaurant, she had high praise for the food.
“It’s freaking delicious,” Hamilton said in the video. “There’s no one in here, and I don’t know why,” she added, noting that one side of the restaurant specializes in pasta while the other focuses on pizza from a dedicated oven.
Trattoria Da Lina recently launched its pizzeria and is currently celebrating with $10 margherita pizzas and $5 Peronis throughout the month of May. “We sat down on the pizza side and got pasta,” Hamilton said before showing off a pasta special. “Look at this freaking deliciousness,” she added, before later showing only pizza crusts remaining from a pie eaten by her dining companion, Ellis.
Hamilton ended the video encouraging others to visit the Takoma Park restaurant. “If you’re in Takoma Park, MD, you should eat here… cause it’s very yummy and they’re very nice.”
