The City of Rockville has shared that visitors to The Square in Rockville (formerly Rockville Town Square) can now access free public Wi-Fi, following a new partnership between the City of Rockville and Morguard, the property management company for the mixed-use development.
The network is available to anyone with a Wi-Fi-enabled device, allowing visitors to browse the internet, check email, stream content, and share on social media while spending time in Rockville Town Center.
To connect, users can open their device’s Wi-Fi settings and select “The Square Rockville — Public Wi-Fi.” A browser page will then prompt users to connect through Verizon, where they must accept the terms and conditions before clicking “Connect.”
The Square, located within the boundaries of Hungerford Drive, East Middle Lane, North Washington Street, and Beall Avenue, serves as a central hub in Rockville Town Center, featuring a mix of restaurants, retail shops, and public gathering spaces.
