MCFRS crews responded Thursday, May 28, to a vehicle fire on Omega Drive between Research Boulevard and Key West Avenue involving a landscaping truck, trailer, and associated equipment.
According to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, the department’s Hazardous Materials team assisted at the scene while EMS personnel evaluated one patient. Some lanes on Omega Drive were blocked as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and secure the area.
