Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) has addressed inquiries regarding a death that occurred on the Capital Crescent Trail.
According to police, a bicyclist experienced a medical emergency and subsequently died. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene.
MCPD emphasized that the incident was the result of a medical emergency and is not being investigated as a criminal matter. No additional information has been released.
