Construction Underway At Glenwood Shopping Center, But Trippy Tacos Says It’s Business As Usual

Construction may be underway at the Glenwood Shopping Center in Wheaton (12134 Georgia Ave.), but Trippy Tacos and its neighboring businesses are still open for customers. The shopping center is home to Trippy Tacos, Dunkin’, Seafood in the Buff, and Maria’s Hair Salon and continue to operate as renovations move forward.

In a social media post, Trippy Tacos acknowledged the visible construction and confirmed that it will remain open throughout the project while continuing to serve customers as usual. “We’re working on some exciting upgrades to make your Trippy Tacos experience even better,” the restaurant shared. “While construction is underway, our kitchen is still serving up all your favorites.”

According to the post, the work is part of ongoing improvements at the Glenwood Shopping Center, which is undergoing significant renovations. While specific details about the upcoming changes were not announced, Trippy Tacos said it is excited about what lies ahead and plans to share more updates in the future.

The restaurant also encouraged customers to continue supporting neighboring businesses during construction, specifically highlighting Maria’s Hair Salon, Dunkin’, and Seafood in the Buff. A banner currently displayed at the shopping center lets visitors know the property is “getting a facelift” while assuring customers that all shops remain open during the work.

For now, Trippy Tacos says customers can continue stopping by for their favorite menu items while the transformation takes shape around them. “Don’t let the construction fool you,” the restaurant wrote. “Come visit us, order whatever you’re craving, and enjoy your Trippy Tacos favorites while we build something even better for you.”
