Pho Nom Nom’s highly anticipated third Montgomery County location is now targeting an opening later this summer, according to a representative of the restaurant’s longtime Rockville location.
As we reported in March, the new restaurant is coming to 11225 New Hampshire Ave. in the White Oak Shopping Center, taking over the space most recently occupied by Valle De Sula. The storefront was previously home to Pho Hung & Grill, bringing pho back to the shopping center after several years.
When plans for the location were first announced, ownership expressed hopes of opening in early summer. While the timeline has shifted slightly, the restaurant remains on track to welcome customers later this season.
Pho Nom Nom first opened in November 2011 at 842 Rockville Pike, taking over the former Ba Le space. Over the years, it has become a popular destination for Vietnamese cuisine in Montgomery County, earning a loyal following for its slow-simmered broths and traditional dishes.
The restaurant expanded beyond Rockville for the first time in late 2023 with a second location in Gaithersburg. The upcoming White Oak restaurant will mark its third Montgomery County location.
Known for offering multiple sizes of pho, Pho Nom Nom has also gained a reputation for baking its banh mi bread in-house to ensure freshness. Additional details, including an official opening date, have not yet been announced.
