On May 29, Ledo Pizza sparked speculation when it teased a “new era of Ledo Pizza” arriving on June 22.
The announcement generated plenty of guesses from customers, with commenters suggesting everything from expanded delivery options and dessert pizzas to a name change to “Ledo’s” and even expansion into new markets.
On Sunday, Ledo Pizza revealed what the company is calling its new era: a $9.99 value meal that includes a personal-sized pizza and a choice of side. The meal allows customers to choose either a cheese or pepperoni pizza along with one of three sides: an Italian salad, mozzarella sticks, or jumbo wings.
While value meals and combo deals have become increasingly common across the restaurant industry as consumers look for ways to save money, some customers expressed surprise that the highly anticipated announcement centered around a new promotional offering rather than a larger change to the brand or its operations.
The promotion launched June 22 at participating Ledo Pizza locations.
