A Baltimore man has become a millionaire after winning a $1 million top prize on a scratch-off ticket.
According to MD Lottery, the
longtime Lottery player said he realized he had a winning ticket after uncovering the game’s “AUTOWIN 7” symbol and discovering the $1 million prize underneath. The avid Baltimore Orioles fan told Lottery officials that while he has won smaller prizes in the past, this was his first top-prize victory. “It was unbelievable,” he said.
The winning $20 Triple Red 777s ticket was purchased at the Wawa located at 2845 Rolling Road in Windsor Mill. The Baltimore County retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
