Maryland Native’s Pizzeria Named Fast Casual Restaurant Of The Year

Andy’s Pizza has been named Fast Casual Restaurant of the Year at the 2026 RAMMY Awards, one of the Washington region’s highest honors for the restaurant industry.

Founded by Montgomery County native Andy Brown, the growing pizza brand now operates 14 locations across the DMV and has continued expanding locally. The company currently has three Montgomery County locations in Downtown Bethesda, Gaithersburg, and Westfield Montgomery Mall.

Andy’s Pizza has earned a loyal following for its New York-style pizza, featuring a thin, crisp crust with a slight char inspired by classic New York slices. That commitment to quality has helped the brand gain both local and national recognition while continuing to grow throughout the region.

The annual RAMMY Awards, presented by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, recognize excellence across the area’s restaurant and hospitality industry, honoring outstanding restaurants, operators, chefs, beverage programs, and hospitality professionals throughout the Washington metropolitan area.
