Five Injured In School Bus Crash in Gaithersburg

Five people were injured Thursday morning in a crash involving a school bus and three other vehicles at the intersection of Firstfield Road and Clopper Road in Gaithersburg.

According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Assistant Chief David Pazos, crews were dispatched to the scene at 7:18am. Responders found a collision involving a school bus and three vehicles.

MCFRS said five people were injured and all five were transported to area hospitals. One adult was taken to a trauma center. Additional information about the conditions of the other patients has not been released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
