A new destination for wing lovers is coming to Rockville. Wing Pop, a new concept from the Ivea Group, is under construction at 1701 Rockville Pike in the Shops at Congressional Village shopping center. The restaurant will take over the former Gyroland space, next to Okaeri and Meow Claw.
The concept will feature internationally inspired chicken wings with flavors influenced by Korean, Japanese, and classic American styles, along with stir-fried ramen and a full bar.
We’re told Wing Pop is designed to land somewhere between a fried chicken restaurant, a ramen bar, and a lively nightlife venue, creating an energetic and social atmosphere for guests. An opening date has not yet been announced. We’ll share more details as they become available.
