Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police’s 3rd District Investigative Unit are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect connected to a series of residential burglaries and the theft of a vehicle in Burtonsville.
According to police, the incidents occurred on Wednesday, July 8, at approximately 7:19pm in the Perrywood Court area. Investigators say the suspect entered multiple properties on the street. At one home, the suspect entered the residence before stealing the victim’s red 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys Edition bearing Maryland registration 06302CN.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male, approximately 20 years old, about 6 feet tall, weighing around 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top-style shirt and dark pants.
Anyone with information about the suspect, the stolen vehicle, or the investigation is asked to submit a tip through Crime Solvers of Montgomery County or call 1-866-411-8477. Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of $250 to $10,000, and tipsters may remain anonymous.
