Gaithersburg Police are investigating a stabbing that left one man injured Saturday evening.
According to police, at approximately 5:57pm on Saturday, July 11, officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department and Montgomery County Police’s 6th District responded to the 9600 block of Lost Knife Road for the report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a single stab wound. Officers provided medical aid until Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said a suspect is in custody, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
