Barry’s, the global fitness brand known for its signature “Red Room” workouts, will open its first Maryland location on Friday, July 25, in downtown Bethesda. The new studio, located at 7276 Wisconsin Ave., marks the company’s fourth location in the Washington region and its 101st worldwide.
Founded in Los Angeles in 1998, Barry’s has built a worldwide following with its high-intensity interval training classes that combine treadmill cardio and strength training. The Bethesda studio will offer the brand’s signature RUN x LIFT workouts, along with a “double floor” option for members who prefer to focus entirely on strength training. Classes will accommodate up to 44 participants and rotate muscle groups daily, including upper body, lower body, total body, and core-focused workouts.
To celebrate opening day, Barry’s will host special activations, brunch bites and photo opportunities for its first guests. The new studio will also feature the brand’s retail boutique, full locker rooms equipped with Dyson hair dryers and OUAI products, and membership options ranging from eight to 30 classes per month. Memberships and class packages are available now.
