Glowbar To Open First Maryland Location Saturday

Glowbar, the fast-growing New York-based skincare brand known for its 30-minute customized facials, will open its first Maryland location at Cabin John Village in Potomac on Saturday, July 18.

The grand opening celebration will take place from 9am to 1pm and will feature complimentary eyebrow threading, giveaways, raffles, Italian ice from Carmen’s Italian Ice from 11am to 1pm, family-friendly activities, and special gift bags for the first 50 guests. Visitors can also become Founding Members and lock in a membership rate for life.

Unlike a traditional day spa, Glowbar focuses on efficient, personalized skincare. Every appointment lasts exactly 30 minutes, with licensed estheticians evaluating each client’s skin at the start of the session and tailoring the treatment to their current needs rather than having customers choose from a menu of facials.

Treatments may include dermaplaning, manual extractions, light chemical peels, microcurrent lifting, cavitation, or LED light therapy, depending on each client’s skin goals.

Glowbar uses a straightforward pricing model with no add-on fees or upselling. Individual treatments cost $85, while members pay $65 per monthly session.
