Wushiland Boba to Open First Maryland Location Next Week

Wushiland Boba is getting ready to open its first Maryland location, with signage now installed at 12266E Rockville Pike in Rockville’s Federal Plaza.

The Taiwanese tea chain has announced that it will begin its soft opening on Wednesday, July 29, taking over the space formerly occupied by Tiger Sugar.

Founded in 1994 in Tainan, Taiwan, Wushiland built its reputation on hand-shaken teas made with authentic ingredients. The company expanded to North America in 2016 with its first U.S. location in San Diego and has since grown across Southern California, specializing in freshly prepared Taiwanese-style teas and boba drinks. The Rockville location marks the brand’s expansion into Montgomery County as it prepares to welcome its first customers later this month.
