F45 Training’s Olney location is permanently closing its doors this week, just over three years after opening in the Fair Hill Shopping Center.
Members were notified by email Tuesday morning that the studio at 18100 Town Center Drive, Unit 8115, will close effective Wednesday, July 29, citing “financial and operational challenges.” According to the notice, all classes will continue as scheduled through Tuesday, July 28, before the studio permanently ceases operations.
The email states that members will have the option to seamlessly transfer their memberships to another nearby F45 location. Additional details regarding memberships and billing were also provided directly to members.
Founded in Australia, F45 has grown into an international fitness franchise with studios around the world. Montgomery County continues to have F45 locations in Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Potomac and Silver Spring. The Gaithersburg location in Kentlands opened in 2024.
