Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a fire at 3410 N High Street at a commercial building behind McDonald’s in Olney at approximately 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
Christopher’s Garden Center is now open at 1610 Olney-Sandy Spring Rd, in the space previously occupied by Good Earth Garden Market.

Montgomery County Health Officials are advising residents who may have had contact with a rabid coyote to contact their primary care physicians.
Montgomery County has released additional information regarding the coyote attacks that occurred on Thursday, March 28, as well as information on what residents should do if they encounter coyotes.
According to Montgomery County Police, the coyote that attacked two people on Thursday, March 28, was located along a trail near Dustin Rd in Burtonsville. It was shot and killed and will be tested for rabies. (more…)

A search is currently underway for a coyote after two women were attacked on Thursday, March 28 in Montgomery County.
