Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police’s 3rd District Investigative Unit are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect connected to an attempted burglary in the Fairland area.
According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, July 24, at approximately 4:23 a.m. in the 13200 block of Guilford Run Lane. Investigators say the suspect, described as a Hispanic male between 16 and 20 years old with dark hair and a goatee, was wearing oversized athletic shorts and a light-colored hooded sweatshirt.
Police said the suspect was observed holding a large knife while attempting to enter multiple homes in the neighborhood.
