The College Plaza Exxon gas station at 15211 Frederick Rd. in Rockville has been sold for $3.85 million, according to Maryland Newsletters.
The property was purchased by 15211 Frederick Road LLC, a Reisterstown-based company headed by Imran Malik, according to Maryland state records. The seller was a partnership known as Gas Tank Joint Venture.
Situated on approximately three-quarters of an acre at the intersection of Frederick Rd. (MD 355) and E. Gude Dr., the property includes the Exxon gas station as well as a multi-bay automotive repair shop.
The property has also become home to The Crab Trap, a seafood food truck that opened at the site earlier this summer and has quickly gained a following for its crab cakes, seafood platters, and other Maryland favorites. It is not immediately known whether the sale will result in any changes to the operation of the gas station, repair shop, or food truck.
