The winners of the 2026 Fair Foodie Awards have been crowned, with Strawberry Cheese Churros from Churros Inc. taking home the top prize at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair (video of the top three below).
The competition was held Friday, August 14, with judges selected by the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair sampling nearly 20 food and drink items submitted by vendors from throughout the fairgrounds. After working their way through the entries and narrowing down the field, judges selected the following top three:
- “Strawberry Cheese Churros” by Churros Inc.
- “Street Corn Dog” by Carnival Treats
- “Tutti Frutti Lemonade with Candies on Top” by Siama Juicebar
Taste MoCo once again spearheaded the annual competition, with “Mr. MoCo” Alex Tsironis returning to host this year’s event after previously serving as both a judge and host.
The Foodie Awards highlight some of the food and drink offerings available at the annual fair while giving participating vendors an opportunity to showcase their creations. Congratulations to Churros Inc., Carnival Treats, Siama Juicebar, and all of this year’s participating vendors!
