Giant Food Launches Savings Stations at All Locations

Giant Food has launched new Savings Stations at all of its stores, giving customers another way to access digital coupons, rewards offers and personalized savings while shopping.

Located near store entrances, the stations allow customers to scan their Giant Bonus Card or enter the phone number associated with their loyalty account. Weekly digital coupons and eligible personalized Flexible Rewards offers are then loaded directly to the account, with discounts automatically applied at checkout.

Customers can also use the stations to print a personalized list of available savings, enroll in Giant’s loyalty program and access seasonal recipes and family-friendly activities such as coloring pages and word searches.

“The Savings Station was designed to make savings more accessible for every customer, regardless of how they prefer to shop,” said Ryan Draude, director of omnichannel loyalty at Giant Food. “At a time when customers are increasingly focused on stretching household budgets, the Savings Station provides a simple way to ensure they never miss valuable digital coupons, rewards offers, and personalized savings opportunities.”

As part of the launch, Giant Food is also donating $85,000 to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay through the company’s Clean Water Partnership. The money was collected through a customer round-up program at Giant’s more than 162 stores and will support the implementation of sustainability practices at local Maola dairy farms in the Chesapeake Bay region.
