Man Accused of Peeping Into Virginia Woman’s Bedroom Window Arrested in Rockville

A Maryland man accused of peeping through a woman’s window on multiple occasions and stalking her in Fairfax County, Virginia, was arrested in Rockville last week, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police identified the suspect as 42-year-old Landon Anthony Taylor of Maryland. He is charged with two counts of peeping and one count of stalking.

Officers responded to the 5900 block of Coverdale Way in the Franconia area at approximately 10:25 p.m. on Aug. 7 after a woman reported seeing a man peeping through her window. The woman told police she had experienced a similar incident the previous day, Aug. 6.

The suspect left the area before officers arrived. After reviewing surveillance footage and other evidence, investigators identified Taylor as the suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest on Aug. 7, according to police.

On Aug. 14, Fairfax County Police coordinated with its Warrant Squad, Metro Transit Police and Montgomery County Police to locate and arrest Taylor in Rockville. Taylor was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, where he was served with two counts of peeping and one count of stalking in connection with the incidents. Police said no mugshot was available.

Fairfax County detectives are asking anyone with information about the incidents, or anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a crime involving Taylor, to contact the department’s Criminal Investigation Division at
