Aery, a local restaurant from the former owners of longtime Gaithersburg restaurant Ichiban, has opened its second location inside Lotte Plaza Market at 1902 Veirs Mill Rd in Rockville.
According to Aery, the new Rockville location offers the same menu as its original Gaithersburg restaurant, along with additional specials available in a grab-and-go case. The location is takeout only and also offers delivery through DoorDash. Menu items include soups and stews, noodle dishes, Korean fried chicken, bulgogi, galbi, pork BBQ, fried rice and fish plates. Shareable dishes include scallion and seafood pancakes, dumplings, japchae, Korean blood sausage, sweet-and-sour pork and braised pig trotters.
Aery opened its original location inside Lotte Plaza Market in Gaithersburg in 2020. The restaurant is operated by the former owners of Ichiban, which opened at 637 N. Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg in 1985 and remained in business for more than 35 years before closing in September 2021.
The Rockville location is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Tuesday.
