Viva Mexico Bar & Grill will open Friday, September 4, in Gaithersburg, taking over the former Pizza Hut location at 18509 Woodfield Road.
According to the restaurant, “Viva Mexico offers bold Mexican cuisine, fresh seafood, and Italian fusion dishes in a vibrant setting. Enjoy happy hour, handcrafted cocktails, and a perfect venue for unforgettable events and celebrations.”
Another Mexican restaurant is also preparing to open just down the road. Plaza Mexico, a rooftop restaurant and bar planned for the upcoming North Pointe at Flower Hill development, is expected to open this fall. The restaurant currently has two locations in Frederick.
