Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel were dispatched at approximately 8:10pm to 355 and Professional Drive for a report of a pedestrian struck in Gaithersburg.
An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the striking vehicle remained at the scene. Northbound MD-355 is closed at Professional Drive. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route and expect significant delays. Additional information has not been released.
