Montgomery County Police are currently on the scene of a person in distress in the 2600 block of Camelback Lane in Aspen Hill.
Fourth District officers were dispatched to the area at approximately 1:02pm. Police said officers are working to resolve the situation and that there is no threat to the community.
MCPD at 4:50pm: “UPDATE: The person in distress has been safely taken into custody.”
MCPD at 3:53pm: “UPDATE: there is a large presence in the 2600 block of Camelback Lane as officers continue to resolve the situation. The individual in distress is contained in their apartment.”
MCPD at 3:13pm: “4D officers dispatched at 1:02 p.m., and are currently on scene of a person in distress in the 2600 block of Camelback Lane. Officers are attempting to resolve the situation. There is no threat to the community.”
