Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews are currently responding to a basement fire at a home in the 9900 block of Inglemere Drive in Bethesda.
Firefighters are deploying hose lines, working to locate and contain the fire, and searching the home to ensure all occupants are accounted for. Crews are also checking for fire extension throughout the structure.
Residents and motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect emergency vehicles, personnel and traffic disruptions while firefighting operations continue. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
