The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Robert Andrew Bloom, 40, who authorities say escaped from the Carroll County Detention Center Transportation Unit.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Bloom was last seen near Buckeystown Pike and Manor Woods Road after cutting off his ankle monitor. Authorities warned that he may be armed with a sharp object. Bloom was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black shorts. A search operation is underway.
Anyone who sees Bloom should not approach him and should immediately call 911 or the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office at 301-600-1046.
