The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) is investigating a fatal shooting in the 1000 block of Seven Locks Road in Rockville, near Potomac Woods Plaza.
MCPD and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene early Sunday, September 13. In an initial update issued at approximately 2:50 a.m., police said an adult man had been found in serious condition.
Police later announced that the shooting is being investigated as a homicide. MCPD’s Major Crimes Division has been notified. No suspect information has been released, and no one is currently in custody. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
