A two-vehicle collision at Frederick Rd (MD-355) and Ridge Rd (MD-27) in Germantown has prompted a severe traffic alert from Alert Montgomery.
According to the alert, all northbound lanes of Frederick Rd are closed at Ridge Rd. Drivers should expect significant delays and seek an alternate route.
MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer reported that the collision involved two vehicles and that some lanes were blocked. No information about injuries was immediately provided.
