Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) 3rd District officers responded Tuesday to the 8500 block of 16th Street in Silver Spring for a reported shooting.
No injuries have been reported. Police said the alleged shooter drove away from the scene and is not in custody.
Officers are canvassing the surrounding area as the investigation continues. We will provide an update if additional verified information becomes available.
