Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded around noon Friday to the 7400 block of Birch Avenue in Takoma Park after a large tree fell onto two houses.
According to MCFRS, one occupant was able to get out on their own, while firefighters assisted another occupant from a home. No injuries were reported.
Both houses sustained damage and were posted as unsafe to occupy.
