Bubbakoo’s Burritos to Open Friday With Free Burritos for a Year for First 50 Guests

Bubbakoo’s Burritos has announced it will open Friday, October 2, at 10am at 16822 Georgia Ave. in Olney, near Roots Market.

According to the restaurant’s announcement, the first 50 guests who purchase an entrée will receive free burritos for a year as part of its opening promotion.

Founded in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, in 2008, Bubbakoo’s is a Mexican-fusion chain offering customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas. Its menu also includes the “Chiwawa,” a lightly fried, panko-crusted cheesy rice ball, along with “Killer Creations” featuring flavors such as Honey Sriracha and Nashville Hot.

The MoCo Show first reported in June 2025 that Bubbakoo’s had signed on for the Olney space. The location had previously been slated to become Ramen Ya, which ultimately did not move forward with its planned restaurant.
