5-Year-Old Struck by Driver While Crossing Street, Injuries Non-Life-Threatening

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 2200 block of Randolph Road near Glenmont Circle in Glenmont Thursday evening for a collision involving a juvenile pedestrian.


According to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer, it appears a 5-year-old child was attempting to cross the street when they were struck.  The child was transported to an area hospital for evaluation with non-life-threatening injuries.
