MakerHive is stocked with an ever-changing supply of upcycled materials collected from thrift stores, salvage centers, and community donations. Everything is sorted, cleaned, and ready to inspire your next creation. During our free opening weekend, visitors can:
1. Select an upcycled base.
2. Decorate the base using a huge assortment of materials such as buttons, plastic tops, old keys, toy pieces, and more.
3. Leave with a unique hand-made creation to keep or give as a gift.
Open Studio Details:
– Drop in any time and work at your own pace (advance registration is available, but drop-ins are welcome).
– Perfect for ages 5-99 (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
– Spread the word and bring your friends!
Start Collecting: You can bring any of the following to donate on your visit: clean plastic bottle tops of all colors, small toy pieces (dominoes, checkers, etc.), and holiday decor (fake Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments).
