Fire Truck Struck This Morning on I-270
Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Pete Piringer tweeted that a fire truck was struck on I-270 between Montrose Rd and Route 28 around 11am this morning while providing scene safety “blocking” for a separate accident.
Reminder: It is state law to reduce speed and move over for emergency vehicles with flashing lights.
One firefighter was treated with non life-threatening injuries.
