Winter Lights: Saunter through dazzling displays of more than one million lights at Brookside Gardens’ Garden of Lights(opens in a new tab). The winter light exhibition opens this Friday, November 18, to Sunday, November 20, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. All visitors five and older must have advanced tickets.

Animals: Join the community science Project FeederWatch(opens in a new tab)at Locust Grove Nature Center on Friday, November 18, 11 am, and help staff count birds at their feeders. Exploration: Our nature centers offer other opportunities to explore nature. Meadowside Nature Center’s Sensory Friendly Days(opens in a new tab) on Friday, November 18, 10 am, provides self-guided outdoor activities and a fall craft for families with individuals who have sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities.

Enjoy a nature or animal story with your little one at Nature Story Time(opens in a new tab) on Sunday, November 20, at 3:30 pm. Then, do a craft, play a game, take a short hike, or visit with an animal friend.

At Maydale Nature Classroom, take the family on a Night Hike(opens in a new tab) on Friday, November 18, 7 pm, or work together to find everything during the Fall Scavenger Hunt(opens in a new tab) on Saturday, November 19, 2 pm.
