Charlie, Known By Many as the “Bethesda Bopper”, Has Passed Away

Charlie, a mainstay in the Bethesda community for many years, has passed away according to the “Bethesda Bopper” Facebook page– a page dedicated to the man who brought smiles to many faces while dancing his way through Bethesda. The full post can be seen below:

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie, fondly known as the Bethesda Bopper, who passed away last week.

He was known throughout the community as the Bethesda Bopper for his love of music and his energetic dancing style. Whether it was at a local concert, bar, or a community event, Charlie could always be found bopping to the beat, spreading joy and happiness wherever he went.

Many of us look back fondly on nights out in Bethesda running into Charlie, who instantly brought everyone together. Charlie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all to have fun and dance like no one is watching.”
