Police are on the scene of a shooting that took place Sunday, June 25 around 6:30pm near Clearspring Local Park & Captain James E. Daly Elementary in Germantown. According to public safety reporter Cordell Pugh, one person was shot in the stomach and one person was injured when a bullet grazed their arm.
Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 7:00pm: “MCPD responded to a call for a shooting in the 20000 block of scenery drive. Two people transported to area hospitals. The area has been secured and appears to be an isolated incident. Park Police is handling.” We will post an update when additional information becomes available.
