The Maryland-Nation Capital Park Police Montgomery County Division have released additional information regarding a shooting that occurred in Germantown on Sunday, June 25. According to a press release, “The Maryland-National Capital Park Police are investigating a shooting that occurred today at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Clearspring Local Park located at 20101 Scenery Drive Germantown, Maryland.
The victims, a fifteen-year-old female, and a fifteen-year-old male, were attending a birthday party in the park when they were approached by a male suspect. The suspect shot both victims and fled in an unidentified vehicle in an unknown direction. Both victims are being treated at local hospitals.
