For over 40 years Wine Enthusiast has been a premier source for all things wine, beer, and other alcohol, creating and delivering unique lifestyle products and content aimed to inspire and empower. When discussing light beers, writer John Holl states “the fact is, light beer—especially lagers—appeal to a large swath of drinkers because of its fewer calories and low alcohol-by-volume (abv).” and that’s exactly what Alex Tsironis of The MoCoShow and the crew at Lone Oak were going for when they created this beer. Lone Oak Farm brewmaster Kevin Hilton, who attended nearby Good Counsel, added his personal touch to make this one of the most flavorful light beers around.

Lone Oak co-founders Chris and Charlie Miller are graduates of Magruder High School. They teamed up with co-owners and builders Ralph and Ryan Mollet of Gaithersburg to bring you the brewery and great times three years now. The MoCo Lite can label was designed by MoCo native and Good Counsel graduate Matt Corrado, a friend of the Mollets and Millers and Creative Director at Bright Light Media in Kensington. The MoCoShow was founded by MoCo native and Watkins Mill High School graduate, Alex Tsironis.
