Rockville Town Square Tree Lighting Event Takes Place Dec. 1st

Rockville Town Square’s Tree Lighting event takes place on Friday, December 1st from 6pm-8:30pm. The event will feature food, drinks, selfies with Santa, live music, walking entertainment, local vendors, giveaways, and more. Additional information, per Rockville Town Square below:

“You’re invited to our annual tree lighting event, where we’re spreading the joy of the season while making a positive impact on the community.

This year, we’re proud to announce our charity partnership with Comfort Cases, a national non-profit organization based in Rockville, who provides backpacks filled with essential items for children entering foster care. These backpacks include items like books, pajamas, hygiene products and stuffed animals.

Join us in our efforts to make a difference in the community by visiting our welcome tent and donating a NEW stuffed animal for children entering foster care through Comfort Cases. When you donate, fill out a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift value at $150.

Enjoy live music from King Teddy and performances from local schools, including Rockville High School and Richard Montgomery High School, along with a dance performance by Dawn Crafton Dance Connection.

Engage in recreational activities such as an open ice rink, walking entertainment, crafts, selfies with Santa, and don’t miss out on giveaways from local vendors. Let’s come together, celebrate, and give back to our local community.”
