District Bistro to Hold Grand Opening Event on Friday, December 1

District Bistro at 11230 Grandview Ave in Wheaton-Glenmont (former site of Umberto’s), will hold its official grand opening on Friday, December 1.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4pm with the Wheaton & Kensington Chamber of Commerce, followed by a special happy hour at 4:30pm.

According to owner Pedro Matamoros, District Bistro is a new American concept that is focused on “seasonality and use of local ingredients.” District Bistro shares its location with sister-restaurant Frank’s Burgers, with Frank’s on one side and District Bistro on the other, united by a kitchen in the back.

Per District Bistro: “GRAND OPENING Friday, December 1st!!! Kick off the most wonderful time of year enjoying consistently delicious, seasonally inspired food and drinks! We offer lunch, brunch, dinner and happy hour! Reservations are able to be made through Open Table or by calling us directly at 240-833-8635”
