AJ Woods’ full statement can be seen below:

“First and foremost, I’d like to thank God for blessing me with the opportunities I have been given to be able to chase my dreams.

I would also like to thank the University of Pittsburgh, Coach Narduzzi, Coach Collins, Coach Powell, Coach Bates, and all of the staff that has aided in my developmental and given me the opportunity to grow not only as a football player but as a man.

Next, I would like to thank my family for raising me into the man I am today but also being a cornerstone of support throughout my entire football career that has allowed me to chase my dreams to the fullest and il it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be in the position I am today.

It has always been a life long dream of mine to play in the NFL. A dream that started the first time I stepped on the field at 7 years old. With that being said I will be declaring for the 2024 NFL draft.”
