Four Injured and One Dead After Collision Following Police Pursuit Wednesday Night

Four people were injured and one person is dead after a fatal vehicle collision following a police pursuit on Wednesday, December 13.

According to Montgomery County Police, “At approximately 10:17 p.m., 4th District officers were attempting to stop a suspect that struck a marked police cruiser and fled during a traffic stop. 

The suspect, driving a white Nissan Maxima, crashed into a Toyota Corolla before colliding with a Honda Pilot at Georgia Avenue and Henderson Avenue (Wheaton-Glenmont.)

One occupant inside of the Maxima was apprehended after the collision.

A second occupant inside of the Maxima was pronounced dead at the scene.

Per Maryland law, the investigation into the collision has been handed over to the Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division.”
