
“It all started with the school laminating scraps!” Ms. Victoria Ahinful, known as “Miss Vicky” by students and staff at Spark M. Matsunaga Elementary School in Germantown, has created a “Christmas Town Community” using laminating scraps from the school where she works as a para-educator.
Mrs. Jacqui McCloskey, a second grade teacher at the school, calls Miss Vicky their local hero. “She is known to bring supplies and clothing in for students, help them with their homework when she lived in our school community’s apartments, create beautiful balloon displays for promotion, and so much more” McCloskey told us. “We love her over at Spark Matsunaga ES and just look what she created in her garage!”
What she created was the wonderful Christmas Town Community that can be seen below (photos and video):
