Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a chimney fire on the 3400 block of Tanterra Circle, off of Heritage Hills Dr. in Olney/Brookeville on Saturday afternoon.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the call was for an apparent chimney fire with smoke coming from the roof of the single family home. The fire was extinguished and crews checked the attic for any possible extension. No extension was found, there were no injuries, and no further occupant needs.

Oak Chapel is excited that Priority Partners Managed Care Organization (PPMCO) in partnership with Johns Hopkins HealthCare (JHHC) have selected the Oak Chapel Hub as the location for the first mini-food pantry/mini library in Montgomery County.
